Our Story...

 

It all began in the University 5th Single’s ward. I noticed a particularly handsome man that I became interested in getting to know further. One evening in December of 2011, I had my chance to have a conversation with this Marcus Johnson, during which it came up that I play harp through ASU. He mentioned he’d like to hear me sometime, and I suggested we go across campus to play right then. I played harp for him, he played piano for me, and thus began our beautiful relationship- to the sounds of music. The coming months would bring tales of chasing back and forth, fantastic dates, and making rain. On one evening in mid-June 2012, Marcus got down on one knee to ask me to be his best friend forever. I whole-heartedly said yes, and we are thrilled to have begun this new chapter of life together. We gratefully thank those many wonderful people along the way who both helped us to grow and encouraged us to keep the course.

Now we have two beautiful sons, Charlie and James, and we love spending precious moments together.

Marc serves as the Stake President of the Tempe Stake of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, while still growing his practice as a financial advisor and staying actively involved in community organizations such as Rotary where he is Past President, and the Financial Planning Association of Greater Phoenix where he is President-Elect.

Alex enjoys playing with their sons all day every day, and is most grateful when Marc comes home at the end of the day so we can unwind over ice cream in our favorite rockers.
